Bold Leap

In the dim confines of his cubicle, a beleaguered man wrestles not with existential questions but with the existential horror of spreadsheets. His soul, once vibrant, now resembles a coffee-stained memo, yearning for escape from the tyranny of deadlines. The city lights outside mock him, glittering like overpriced jewelry he can’t afford, promising adventures he’s too tired to pursue. He closes his eyes—not to dream, but to briefly pretend he's anywhere but here—perhaps on a rocket piloted by Neil Armstrong himself, escaping not to the moon but to a realm where meetings are cancelled and "reply all" emails are forbidden. Yet, as his mind drifts, he realizes that greatness isn’t forged in struggle; it’s outsourced to interns. Transcendence doesn’t lie in possibility—it’s found in the sweet release of the office Wi-Fi going down.
